Remembering that childhood experience of being marched home in disgrace, I decided to come up with a Z piece to capture it.

It's funny as an adult to consider being marched home in disgrace (maybe some of us should still be). I can't help but s****** to remember the times as a child when it happened. Now they are tales that my Mother tells looking back and laughs about.

Great texturing! Could you perhaps give us a little mini-tutorial on how you make your work :qu:

boozy floozie,

 :tu:

This work kicks ass. Extremely cool. Are you a commercial artist?

Next, let's see the rest of your family getting disgraced by your mother. :D

Dear Gerlon ,
There's no special texturing technique used in the creation of this image. I've been painting tileable background textures, adding various lighting, contast etc then exporting variations out of ZBrush as photoshop files then re-importing them back into ZBrush to use as texture maps for painting and adding to 3d geometry. In other words it's just standard texturing as used in all 3d apps. I suppose as with all texturing the secret is to create texture maps sensitive to the subject matter.

Denture Cream,
Yes I am a designer/commercial artist but my knowledge of ZBrush could be written on the back of a postage stamp. As yet I've only dipped into ZBrush for fun and too play and each time I return I forget everything I've previously learned. I am however fascinated by it's potential and hope to find more time to experiment with it.

Thanks for your kind words.
