Hi there...
I haven't been able to work with Zbrush much and now my workplace wants me to use it for an upcoming game... I have to come up with moveable elements (frogs, grasshoppers , big mouth bass) and I was wondering if there was a way of texturing after you use the Zsphere so that the texture stays with the model... even though you moved it...
Is there a tutorial around to explain how to do that?
Thanks a lot for the help :D

After you have skinned your ZSphere construction, switch to your new object in the Tool palette.
With ZBrush 1.51, you should then go to Tool>Modifiers>Texture and choose either Uvs, Uvp or Uvc mapping (spherical, planar or cylindrical). After the release of the bonus upgrade, you will also be able to leave the mapping as UVTiles.
Next, use the TextureMaster to texture your model.
When finished, export the model from the Tool palette and the texture from the Texture palette. You may find that it is necessary to press the Texture>FlpV button before exporting to flip it vertically (some programs use UV coordinates that are flipped in relation to ZBrush).
The texture will then be able to be wrapped onto the model in whatever program it is taken into for the game.

Thanks for the reply... I'll be using ZBrush to animate actually by movng the Zsphere ^__^ I might try to export a model into Max or Lightwave if I have time.
I'll follow the procedure and check out all the tutorials...
BTW while I was skimming the tutorials, I realized that the Bamboo Sticks tutorial link send us to the Transparency and Shadow tutorial. :)
Just thought I'd point it out ;)
Bye and thanks again
P.S. I might do some work outside of work and post it here Well see ya then ;)

So Aurick, if one doesnt go to Tool>Modifiers>Texture and choose either Uvs, Uvp or Uvc mapping before texturing...will Texture Master generate bad results? Because I have gotten some terrible results from Zif Mesh with TM...but I also know that I havent set the mapping before hand. I wish I had a picture to show you...
The UVTiles method works great within ZBrush. If you are going to use your work in ZBrush and are not planning to need to unwrap the texture, then don't switch to one of the other methods of mapping. UVTiles has the lowest possible amount of distortion out of any mapping method in any application. It only becomes a problem (for now) when the texture is exported to other programs.
This Thread (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=007648) and This One (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=008133) both discuss the issue in great detail, along with info about your various options.
I have been informed that the bonus upgrade will overcome the issue of textures that use UVTiles not wrapping correctly in other apps. In addition, the method is being changed to take up the entire texture area. So there are awesome improvements on the way!
