You just add some meat on those legs, push the eye sockets in a bit, and he will be all set to wonder off all reptilian and stuff.:D Keep up the good work.

I've worked on the muscles in the arms and legs as well as the facial structure.
I am going to use ZApp Link for help with the texture.

looks kewl so far....you might want to pull up a pic of a Komodo dragon as a muscle and detail reference to further your detailing and texturing...good model

Matty: He's off to a good start. He looks Demitrodonish...:D
I have a few suggestions and questions for you. First, was he a Z-Sphere model originally and then made into an adaptive mesh? If he was and you still have the Z-Sphere model, you can try and convert him into a unified skin. It's an alternate way of skinning Z-Spheres that I find quite useful occasionally. I find that I can manipulate the mesh easier than what I get from adaptive skin.
Just an alternate idea for you to play with.

Ron had a great suggestion about the komodo dragon reference. They look similar to Demitrodons and since they are real, you can get multiple images to get shape and texture ideas from.

As for the first spine on his sail, it seems a bit wide. You can taper it using the smooth tool. (Shift while using the standard brush). You can taper it using the move tool. (A bit trickier). Or you can taper it using the pinch tool. I learned to use the pinch tool from Ralf Stumpf, an amazing artist on these forums.

Of course, he's your baby, so take my suggestions with a grain of salt...:D

If ya have any questions, just ask...

He's looking pretty damn cool so far...:tu:
