Ok, this isn't really my first post. I posted before as Merc49, but I wanted to change my username to my "final" user to go with my website. I had zbrush for a little while but didn't have much chance to use it for school projects. I suspect now I'll have more time now that I'm graduated. Eddie was low poly modeled and posed in Maya. Then I took him into zbrush for some fine tuning and sculpting of the muscles. I didn't put too much surface detail because I wanted to render non photorealistic and a more illustrative look. After that, I brought him back into Maya and rendered with non photorealistic shaders. I think I'm done with him because I want to move onto a fresh new project. But, C and C's are welcome. My next project will be all in Z since I just watched Glen's Kurv videos (really good stuff) and am inspired.
Cheers.

Look's like a Mudokon...Do you remember those strange humanoids in the P.Station games "Abe's Odyssee" and "Abe's Exodus"?

Is this an inspiration?....or a coincidence?

WANNA LOOK?

I know of the game and a big fan of the art. But I didn't really play through the game. I know there is some resemblance to Abe in the head and the hands and feet. I wanted to give him a more alien look and not give him the "normal" 5 digits. But I wasn't setting out to copy it, consciously =)
Thanks.
