hello,

some days ago i saw the picture of an ape from a big artist and i thought it would be great to modell it in zbrush...

i need 5-6 hours to make it... i think this would never be possible in any other 3d software...

EDIT:
Thanks for all these great replays! Because of this: here is the head as a ZTL Tool for download... maybe someone wants to modify it or make a komplete pic of it... -- bonobo.zip (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_file-1037634160fpx.zip) --

Good modelling, Mike. :tu: :tu:

And your self-advertising paid off, Zerebrom, it tempted me to have a look at your site. I have to say your English is a damn sight better than my impoverished German, but I managed to stagger around OK and do a couple of downloads. Nice looking site you have there.

Flycatcher:

thank you for being "there" :D - you know we are only just beginning to build up a German community. ZBrush is something like an "insider"-thingie over here. This and the fact that the "upper league" is not present makes it kind of a tough job - but: very interesting (maybe soon we will have our own southern, brilliant, etc :D :D !?).
Thanks again, you all are welcome "there"!!

:D :D "... one picture says more than 1000 words!" so they say!! Seems like nothing is hindering your contributions (& some of "us" at ZBrush.de know a bit of your native tongue, don't we? :D :D

yes.. thats right.. but the thing i want to tell you (and why i make this) is that he need more time for this.. i know that he worked on this modell a long time... this is why i make it in zbrush.... and it was much faster... or not?

There's no question that ZBrush is faster...
check out KenB's tut on modeling for animation...animation may or not be your end to achieve, if it is, then you STILL would be so much faster and can concentrate on the creative side while then injecting the tech side during the last parts of Ken's process he explained...again, great job! This shows how ZBrush can be a tool for dissecting anothers' work to figure out the process..ie..edge looping, proper polygon placement around mouths,etc....I'd bet that KenB knows this guy....maybe he could find out how long it took for JF to complete?
