A series of models to explore the capabilities of Zspheres.
Modeling Exercise #7: Dragon.
I know everybody is tired of Dragons by now but I was planning to do a winged dragon since I did the tree dragon. Sigle mesh except eyes.

Modeling Exercise #8: Vampire
I'm experimenting with character developing. Trying to give personality to a model.

Thanks for the comments guys. deks the wings were made using zspheres to create an adaptive skin of the body and the arms and hands. Imagine a couple of arms with very long fingers. Then I exported this model into wings3D. I used wings to create the membrane between each finger. Then I exported back into Zbrush where I did the rest of the modeling.
Check my tree dragon thread for more details on how I model. The thread is here:

How can anyone ever get tired of dragons? ;). This one looks wicked too!, very good work.
And deks I think you can do something very similar in Zbrush too, The wings I've done so far have been made creating the bones then pulling out the membrane between em with the move tool and draw size 1. So it works :).
Wow that's great!!!
Can you describe me how do you make the ground of your picture with the dragon?(maybe in a Z-script,I hope....)
Was the head made with zspheres? Both models are extremely well done :tu: :tu: :tu:

Thanks for the comments guys.
deks: You can do these kind of wings on Zbrush if you wish. Joe Lee's made ones in 1.23b using a cone for his "Balrog" image. Check it out here:

The way Karasuando mentions is another way to go.The reason why I used Wings3D is because I want to learn how to use this software and I thought this was a good way to do it.
user: I don't understand your question but I'll describe what I did. First I placed a plane3D with the gyro until it was in the angle that I wanted it. Then I placed the dragon just above the plane. Then I just used fog to hide the background. Hope this helps.
Gerlon: Thanks and yes, the heads were done with Zbrush.
Zstevie: Coming from you that's a very good compliment. Thanks.
