ZBrushing with fractals.
love that ZBrush stenciling!
Great picture Rhom! I like the coloring on this one. It makes me think of the ocean and sand, and at the same time the sky flying over some exotic land.

splashing mandelbrot surf split by a torpedo, a shark fin dividing vintage photos, marbles and a reflecting device... what a strange dream. my new favorite of yours (for how long? experience shows that they change at decreasing intervals - but there it goes into my private hall of fame folder, where a lot of other rhom’s already reside). kudos, rhom! what a wonderful piece of Z-art this is!

Beautiful!
Very professional, clean and tight.
Excellent render.
Very nice Thom! :)
As surreal as it is, this is one that looks more "real" to me. Perhaps it's the pretty colors, which are very bright (in a good way.) That stuff toward the bottom, the mirrors, the balls, the circle thing, those really make this quite an image. :tu:
:)
:tu: :tu: :tu: Gorgeous. Simply gorgeous. :tu: :tu: :tu:
fantastic! but the little balls at the ground
remind me of war since the newest news an hour ago. Sorry rhom
Fantastic image :tu: :tu:

Now there's some great stencilwork. So much cleaner than real airbrushing with paint. It melts on your screen, not in your hands! Your complex techniques though never get in the way of your great compositions and artistic expressions
Thanks everyone!Ya got that right Zoid.

As an airbrusher, I have to agree...much less messy, and my Iwata doesn't have a Control-Z! :tu: :tu: :tu:

Wow, that's gorgeous! Would you share how it was done?
Sure-The backdrop is a fractal generated with one of the many freebies floating around on the web.The twin diamond shapes are
Xeno dream generated that I imported into ZBrush and used to make stencils and simple
brushed-RGB only. The spheres- MRGBZ grabbed reflection on different materials. So is the big central sphere and ring.Used eraser set on ZCut with a couple different alphas and the bump brush around it.Finally when I hauled it into PhotoPaint to JPEG it-I used
a CEFX2 script called cut it out to make the central shaded cut out.
