When I saw Zoids' clown pic, which I thought was great, I did this...I'm working on some Art Deco glamourous 1930's figurines, and ended up putting 20 minutes into a little test, with this resulting. :rolleyes:
Like I said in the title block:
BLAME ZOID! I DIDN'T WANT TO DO JUST ANOTHER HEAD, BUT HE MADE ME!!!

i can't seem to pin point whats throwing it off a bit the hair being to far forward or the top of the head needs to be pushed out a bit from the hair...
but beside that every thing looks great

Wow! If this is the kind of trouble that I'm responsible for, then I'll gladly own up to it. That's a great doll's head. When I made that clown yesterday I wasn't even thinking of dolls and porcelain and masks, but now I've got all sorts of crazy ideas in my head, and I hope you all do too. Why is drawing the human face such an interesting and compelling thing to do? It seems like it's the number one subject for most artists, so you're in good company. The inspiration for my clown came most directly from Robo, in fact I've renamed "toyplastic" to "Robo-mat" in my program. But also like Southern's schematic shows, I'm inspired by every single image that I see posted in this forum. It's all one big interlocking gridwork of talent :D
