Hello all. This is a vampire model that I'm working on. I'm trying to find a job as a junior modeller so any comments as to how I can make this better would be welcome. I haven't used sub surface scattering as my computer is about as powerfull as a paper weight. I'd welcome some comments as I've not received many comments on my past two posts. I'm finding it very difficult to get into this industry so any thoughts on achieving this would be really helpfull. Although similar this model is not from the free post that was done a while ago. I created this in Maya a while ago.VampirePost.jpg

hi

Sometimes a little patience is necessary. Remember it's a busy time of year for some folks....back to school end of summer kinds of things etc etc.

Also folks have been anxious about news of the goodies coming out so they are gonna be looking for news and not necessarily checking out threads.

One thing I would suggest is to also post your wireframes.....if you want to be a modeller....and get noticed for that.....I imagine folks would want to see how you put things together as well as your end results.

Also you might want to take a look at the September issue of 3D World. It has an article you might find interesting about ways to get your foot in the door.

Really good looking vampire.
I will give you an advice. Try not to rely on replies too much. If you do every time you will get annoyed when they are missing. And that is not good for your creativity. Just concentrate on your work. Use as much references as you can. Read anatomy books and keep observing the world around you.

Keep up the good work:tu:

I agree with Vlad. The main thing for a modeller is tha autonomy...

That's right sometimes you can need a help and you can try to show your problens here on this site, and I'm sure that somebody will always help you.

But you should work by your own to impove yourself reading anatomy books, wacthing video tutorials ect ect....

You decide how to make your street.:D
Hope to be useful,
