this is my first model in any modeling program, and zbrush is the first modeling program i could get my hands on. i followed the practical guide the whole way but tried to do my own thing. are there any suggestions or opinions? things im doing right or wrong?
im having a terrible time trying to get the tectures to work, and the practical guide is very confusing when they start to do the skin coloring and texturing.
i see on alot of peoples models the fine bumps and such for things like shaved beards or stubble, but i cant reproduce the effect. even when adding the textures once i "drop" onto the model they get very mushy and no longer have a real crisp look. is this because im not divided up high enough?
i apologize for any of my noobie sounding references, but im just not that familiar with the program yet. any information or suggestions anyone could give me would be great, thanks.
