A small update, playing with the color a little bit.

I'd love some feedback.

Excellent bringing to life of your concept. I hope you give the "brain" area a bit more colour to make it pop away from the face colour. Some more reds and grey maybe?

Heyas Skuby,

Would love to see a side shot of him if you are able to..

I looked at him last night and you did what I was going to suggest and made the brain more pronounced.

He reminds me a little of the brain creature that was in the Mutant Teenage Ninja Turtle cartoons...(his name escapes me)...

I like this character. I don't know the intent of use of the character, but the fangs are a bit long if he is to be a serious character. Now if he is to remain somewhat cartoonish, then the fangs are fine at this length.

Though I really like the improvements on the brain....If it were mine, I would make the division of the left and right hemisphere of the brain more separated and the crevasses in the brain tissue a little deeper....

All in all you seem to be producing a nice character so far.

Looking forward to your further results.

kind regards,
Ron

Great character.
I see nothing lacking in the mesh work that further colour maps/textures would not complete.

Look forward to seeing the character in a narrative context.

:tu:

p.s the only obvious difference between the sketch and the finished piece is the raised eyebrow and difference in scale between both eyes that gives it a slightly more sinister comical appearance.

Thanks Boozy, I think I will put that expression on back on his face soon.

I started seperating the two halves of the brain and raised the membrane detail a bit and I think it really helped, thanks again Ron.

check it out...
