terrific pic, Kathy. this guy's hilarious. increadible modeling and coloring. those hands and that bone look real. awesome background, too. amazing modeling, coloring and it's funny. great work, keep Zbrushing.

Way cool, Kathy! That background really makes the piece -- I like how it's blurred, yet identifiable. Fun character, too, and well executed. I love it!

I love this Kathy, very humorous,particularly that expression. The modelling and all aspects are A1. Thanks for the laugh.

Wonderful modeling--the expression on his face. Are the hands ZBrush? They look great whatever. The blurred background is a good idea...

Thanks everyone. This one was fun.

Ed; No fries. Mashed Potatoes and gravy are on the table.

The hands and forearms are imported. I have no problem building a closed fist or palm with ZBrush, but the minute I try to make an open hand "doing" something, I fail. I'm just not skilled enough yet.

So...
1) Load P4 guy.
2) pose hands.
3) export right forearm/hand alone.
4) export left forearm/hand alone.
5) import into ZBrush, and to obtain the "cartoony" feel, I do an XYZ inflate of 35%.

I build a whole new texture map for both in ZBrush with Texture Master.

Hands just KILL me in Z. I've tried many many architectural paths, and haven't found that one that gets me to where I want to be...I've come close useing the cube. But not close enough for me to like it.
