Hey Tomer!
If you are doing a fist, or any other shape of hand, the best place to start is to look at your own hands, in the pose you want, and from different angles...Once you have a grasp of the pose, decide whether you want to model the entire hand or model the parts seperately...For instance, in the case of a fist, how much will you see, depending on the angle of observation? You could model the back of the hand as you have, then curve the palm, followed by making the fingers individually and placing them one at a time.

Each hand is unique, in each scene, and there is no 'right' hand...You have to deal with each scene... ;)
I hope these thoughts help a bit...

hey, this is really good so far. i've never modeled a hand before (well, a cartoon hand...i usually just import from Poser) so i can't give you any tips or anything except keep doing whatever you're doing, cuz it's working GREAT!

thankes stonecutter and jibb..

stonecutter: that exactly what im doing. the fingers will be modeled part by part each finger individualy.
the reason im asking is because for some readon the palm and tendons (the two that come out from the wrist at the back of the hand) just wont come out right, so i'm asking if there's a special trick here or something im missing.. and im having some problems with creses in the mesh (model started from maxed sphere 512X256 and subdevided several times in demanding spots.. but from some reson the smoothing works strangely....

i'l be wrking on it this sat' see if im missing anything importent...

S/B, I don't know whether this would help, but in modelling in general, I find the most important things to remember are Brush size, and Z-Intensity...The higher your ZIntensity is, the sharper the edges on the additions you make to your model. If you take a Sphere as a beginning, I set it to maximum HDiv and VDiv, and I have yet to subdivide anything...
I instead use modifications of size and intensity depending on what I'm trying to achieve...
If you can run scripts, email me directly, and maybe I can send you some scripts that will help you out! ;)

stone, the reason im doing so many devisions is because the hand will be in an exteremly close close-up, something like chris neofotistos' "greed".. i'll email you for the scripts when my mail box is cleard (damn 10 meg limit ;) )

I do fingers individually as well,I've found it the only succesful way. Yours seems to be coming on alright, I don't think you'll have problems.
