I have been working on it for two months now. I was motivated to make the first 100% Zbrush pic ever, and it seems I made it. everything Zbrush. custom alphas were created in Zbrush and exported as bmp, and reimported as alpha brushes. it was challenging and rewarding - dedicated to Pixologic and their hard work, and to the beautiful people of this forum.
thanx to all my teachers (juandel, pixolator, aurick, kruzr, adman, southern and the Saint -thanx Kat for reminding me -forgetting anyone?...)

Very nice, and well worth the wait. Fine texturing and modelling. I'm glad you were able to maintain the detail level in a complex image... :tu: :tu: :tu:
(As a Z-Fanatic I trust you mean your first 100% ZBrush image... ;) )
Great work!
:tu: :tu: :tu:  :tu: :tu: :tu:
It has been a joy watching this project come along, and a real torture having to wait for the final result. Well worth the wait, however -- this is just stunning work.
There's nothing here that I can single out as being my favorite. I love the sky; especially with the sun glow. I love the city/ruin in the background. I love all the cables, gizmos and whatsits. The particle effect that you created for the sparks is also most impressive.
A true masterwork!

Amazing image Christos. As good as anything I've viewed on the boards. Your modelling is first rate, as is the texturing of the robot. That background would be something in it's own right, and works beautifully with the main focus of the image. Congratulations on a very fine effort.
WOW!!!!!
That's just amazing C!
Outstanding piece, Christos! It grabs your eye immediately, then as one looks around, there is constantly more and more to attract the gaze. That background is too cool. Excellent textures. Killer. :tu:  :tu:

That's really incredible and the sense of emotion portrayed in this picture comes through wonderfully! :tu:
Spectacular achievement. This is a good image for anyone who's ever wanted to rip the guts out of their computer. The atmospheric quality comes from so many sources, the sky,the sun,the haze, the way the figure is lit,the materials you used. This image really has a soul. You are an artistic prodigy. Now I'm gonna unplug my computer and go read a book ;)
This is really a fantastic picture. I miss
the right words for describing what I feel...
Das Bild ist unglaublich gut! :tu: :tu: :tu:

I seem to lurk a lot on this list, gleaning little bits of knowledge here and there but remaining mostly silent. Then I see pictures like this and think that feedback is almost a responsibility for the hours of work put into an image of this calibre.
It's fantastic :tu: :tu:

I never expected this flurry of comments.
I have posted some Zscripts on the process of making this pic, however I don't think they were very helpful anyway :D

Most excellent Christos :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu:
So many wonderful touches, the approaching dust storm (?), the sparks, the ruins, the pneumatics and the sand dust in motion at his feet.
Again, most excellent :D
