aladdin, a lamp and lots of lava?????
am I being too cliche'?
great sense of space, dr. by the way, you might want to try playing "black and white", there are some serious mutations your pet animal undergoes. it might be interesting to you =D

Hey Doc, fantastic start! One suggestion I might make is to consider cropping the image so the eye is concentrated more on the central part, and maybe a little shading enhancer brush to bring the face and other details out a bit more...
I'm really looking forward to further developements!

This looks cool! :)
How about some giant tusks that might also be stalagmites?

very cool cave you got there, dr. the face in the background is really cool. something i think would be cool is some sort of procession heading down the pathway (a funeral, cellebration). great image, dr. can't wait till the finished masterpiece.

I'd suggest trying some added lighting and emphasis on the cave walls. Perhaps as if the centrepiece is glowing. Also how about one or two foreground stalagtites/mites seen mostly in rim lit silhoeute for a defined forground / background.

Great mats, texture and concept...I like Davey's idea of a procession.
Excellent image as is!
