Here's a new project i'm working on called "Stomachache." I've been real sick lately and this is my interpretation of a stomachache.

Let me know what you think so far. Hopefully I can finish this up, and put to use some of the soft lighting, etc. of the new version. Cloth and cut will be more detailed, background to be added, skin painted.

Great modelling. :tu: :tu: :tu:
My suggestion, since you asked for comments, is that it would be better without the cuts. I think the pose is already eminently expressive of the titular pain endured, so that the cuts are unnecessary and actually detract from the power of the image.
EDIT: Forgot to say - I hope you are recovered now from your sickness.
:)
Do a plain version...then do one where it looks like he has been drawn but not quartered...sort of like in BraveHeart...where they gutted him and dragged his intestines out while he was still alive. NOW THAT IS GUT ACHE!!!
Cheers.
This is a brilliant model!, looking forward to seeing the finished piece!.

Reminds me of diarrhea and sickness
I like it loads. Would be nice with a kind of vortex background to give it an otherworldly "Can't think of nothing but the pain" feel

thanks so much for all the comments.
I realize i should have explained what this was going to look like when i first posted it. The look i'm going for is as if he's woken up on a dissection table and they've already begun the dissection. I want the room and table to be very white, lit with bright lights, and a tray next to him with a bloody scalpel, etc.
Flycatcher, that is what i was trying to communicate with the pose, so thank you for that. However, I do have an image in my head, so I will have to complete that first. However, i do like this model, so I may do another pic with him.
Thanks again, Buzzwizard

What would be good here then, would be a very detailed room with surgeons, tools, walls, floor, tables, equipment etc, but for everything to be stark white except for the blood on the wound and the scalpal.
Now that would be good
