Very simple, very easy, very speedy
Of course you can refine volumes, mixed textures and the Must : making some Inflate !!!
(I suppose result is yet convincing ? :D)
It's just the concept

Ps Why without photo ? Because I am a demo user :)
Pss I have forgotten to say
With the Spray : Picker "Continuous" On

Realy cool Frenchie!
I realy want to learn this trick, I am still trying to do it like your example but I cannot get the same effects as you.... Is it possible for you to make a script useing this method?
BTW, here is a heightmap/mixing map for bricks I made... Might come in handy for makeing a brick material....

I noticed in some materials they used images like thease to get patterns and bumps... Maby it will come in handy for someone... it is totaly seamless

Hi Boozzy
KING Pilou III: A horse! a horse! My kingdom for a horse!
Kindly and swiftly realized :)
Merci and Bravo!
Hi Polaris
You can make something with your method but you will obtain something too regular.
And there is less funny :)
No I can't do a script (demo user)
I have asked some great ZMaster to make this for you :)
It's Maybe at the painting with the Spray, I have forgotten to say : Picker "Continuous" On. and Take a small size (10-20) of Cube3D for Spraying !
If you have a complete Version You can load the image of the thread and "grabb" the "texture(5)" at the point 5 !!! :D
Tell me if that's work.
I was surprised also by the result, but it's working magicaly !
Thx Zbrush :)
Pilou
ps Thx for the all reply
Pss Boozzy Don't take offence for the next line ! ;)
That's astonished, Your colored Castle is like a recreation ground near the Mac Donald's area in my country :D
You see I don't lost my ferocious humor

that is one terrifico technique, Pilou :) + manymany :tu:s! i recorded a quick script for Polaris - here (http://www.cyber-webs.com/zbrush/juandel/stonetextpilou.zsc) - which doesnt look as nice as Pilous but shows the basic process - hopefully. it would be a good idea to cover a much greater underlying sweepprofile to be able to grab a more detailed texture. in case you want the stones to basically run horizontally and vertically i would recommend to either apply the new texture to a plane and rotate it into the wanted angle to do another mrgbz-grab or to disable picker - orientation - continuous and play with the icon beside it to allign the stones properly.
