Hello everyone. I'm trying to make a blond caracter and I want to make it very real. I tried some materials and colors combinations but I can't find a good one wich make the face and the hair very real. Please someone knows how to paint the hair and the face to get a very realistic picture? I'm planning to use the default lights settings of Zbrush.

Thanks

Hi palladin
For the face you find surely many material here (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=010026) in this big thread :)
For hairs make some try with the FiberBrush
if you have a complet version you can also import a photography of blond hair and make texture with it and re use Fiberbrush.
Hope this help :)
Have fun !

One of my favorite tricks is for after painting the texture. Unwrap the texture to the canvas with the Basic Material. Set a Noise value of about .02 and a Noise Radius of 1. Then set the Color Bump to -1. Now use the MRGBZGrabber with AutoCrop off and Shaded RGB on to capture the texture again.

The result will be that your skin texture has been given a base porosity, making it more lifelike. You'll need to modify your material settings depending on the size of the texture and the look that you want to achieve, but this should be a good starting point.

Here's an example:

In fact, this trick can be used for anything where you want to easily create a soft, porous type of look. Flower petals, for example. :)
