Hullo, quick question:
I recently got a Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer through the ZDNet Rewards (http://www.zdnetrewards.com) program. (For those unaware, this mouse is an optical mouse w/o mouseball, and the bottom glows, and it's neato like a derito! ;)) The Explorer has two (count 'em) two thumb buttons. They can, of course, be configured to do different things. I had the bright idea of configuring to Undo and Redo, so I wouldn't have to use that pesky Ctrl+Z shortcut in ZBrush. The undo thing works great, very easy. But the redo doesn't work in ZBrush (though it works in other programs.) Any way to fix this? Oh, while I'm asking, are there any plans for the scrolly wheel to be made use of in ZBrush? Like have turning be zoom, and click-drag pan?
Thanks for taking the time to wade through all this! :)

Are you sure that you have undo set to "Ctrl-Shift-Z" ?

It's highly possible that the scroll-wheel will be given some function in a future version of ZBrush. ;)

muvlo, hi. I suppose the intellimouse came with a memory resident proggie that allows you to assign mouse buttons to actions? maybe even an icon in the control panel?

bear in mind, that undo in zbrush should be assigned as ctrl+shift+Z

I know this is a lame answer to give, but check it, in case you have been too tired to think of it yourself. happens to me all the time...

Thanks for the responces. The way my mouse software works it just has a drop down menu, which includes "Undo" and "Redo". You can't really asign key+key+key things. Oh well. :)
It's still lots of fun to ZBush in my lap. I really reccomend this to everyone, except for those lucky people with tablets! :)
(Good news about the scrolly Zuzu. ;))
