Having a play.......it was a modelled sphere...then I had a coffee.....with new chemicals on board something went wrong. Here is the result......

Ed, I think that this is arguably one of your finest pieces to date. I don't think you're just playing around here, you have found techniques that work really well together. The quality and expression of that one eye is beautiful, and the sense of many levels of focus, and motion is very engaging :cool:
ETA this is a very striking image, you have done a lot of excellent work in the past, but this one is so different it would be at home in any art gallery. Congrats. on a masterly done painting. :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu:

SO Creative !!! This is really a strikingly beautiful image -- I'm reminded of Dali's wife Gala when I look at it...

Love the tonal control, and the light and shadow, mixed with cubist stylistics to produce a totally integrated piece!
