Wasn't going to post this, just playing around.

I do have a question about getting rid of the jagged edges (without using the blur tool, sometimes you just can't use the blur tool) I did use the blur tool to bleed some of the smartie coloured dye into the some icing though, I like it's effect.

I'm getting jagged edges around the gingerbreadman, the smarties and some of the icing. Why does this happen and what can I do before starting a project?

Thanx for your time,

Combo C

I'll post something else up later tonite. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200306/user_image-1054957699fwn.jpg

hi,go to zoom palette and click aa half button. this antialiases and shrinks size. so you may want to start with double size of what you plan to get.

thats one cool gingerbreadman, Combo!

in case the image is to small to do the aa-half via zoom-palette as suggested by kokoro, you might want to have a look at this thread (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=002475)

When using multiple materials on a single layer you will see jagged edges if the materials border each other and vary greatly from one another. Having the materials that overlap on seperate layers solves this, and also makes it easier to selectively edit using the 2D brushes.

Don't know if that is whats happening in your very tasty picture :)
