View Full Version : Freak - WIP

This man needs water! Nice job on the dessicated look, Vivien. Though without teeth he looks a wee bit like a blowup doll for the horror fan...:D
Can't wait to see where this model goes...

Bad link for ZBrush-fun
why the link pilou?
i specified at the beginning of the thread that this is a character from the movie "ghostbusters", i didn't want to offend anybody, i'm just trying to improve my tecnique in zb. here's the reference i'm using.

Está muy bien. Deberías aguietarle la punta de la nariz, se ve demasiado bien conservada.

hmmm I think FP was trying to give you a reference pic as in a real life one. I don't think the tragedy of the video was intended as a part of this. A still shot of the victim might have been used instead of the video..
Many of us love doing the dead and dark images like Viv posted here. I personally have files around that depict the horror of real life to get ideas and use those images as reference pics to help in my works.
Viv great work on this ghostbusters character though. Looking forward to more of your progressions.
FP is more than capable of handling his own business and is the king of net searching and links, to say the least, but I don't think he meant any harm.
Keep up the work, you're getting there.
creatively yours,
Ron

I'm sure he is the king of those things and a cool person, but I simply didn't like the link, not blaming him of nothing.
I found very unopportune that video cause of the really depressive and heavy content.
Nothing else.
Best.
:) it's all good! no hard feelings.
first test done in xsi, using normal map + texture. next test is with displacement.
