View Full Version : I eventually got a Wacom Tablet
The ease of creating an image in zbrush is accelerated when using a tablet, I did spend a longer amount of time on this image, than most previous, as I was getting used to using the tablet, I would recomend that any zbrush users who ever get the chance to get hold of a tablet should do so.
Its a bit of a struggle at first, and then it becomes natural, hope you like my head study.

gasp....outstanding image...The tablet does make a difference definitely..I got a cheap one for Christmas and it really helps..though I do reccomend that if someone buys one to go with something besides the "JAM pad" I should have taken it back and exchanged it for a a Wacom...live and learn...gret work..cant wait to see more

Great picture. I find it interesting for my own stuff, as it is seen that 2d illustration can be made much quicker than standard painting in other 2d softwares...mostly color, bump and volume.
I have a wacom Intuos (I think its been 2 or 3 years with me, I dont know) 12x12 and that small Graphire.(bought 3 other before from other companies...till wacom, I couldn't make use of drawing in computer)
Well, although Intuos is great (x2 pressure levels) I found Graphire to be almost as good as Intuos. And a lot cheaper. I can have graphire, with right hand over it and a stnadard ps2 mouse, and left in keyboard.(all the day using shortcuts, even while u can use programmable intuos mouse buttons...I dont like that mouse.I dont know if graphire II's mouse already supports thos programmable short cuts) For production environment (video games and that) I almost prefer it. For highly detailed illustration, Intuos win.
