In this one I made the texture, which was an awesome experience and tried too utilize the painting and filter brushes...Let me know what u think...thanks..e:) Creature_concept2.jpg

NICE! He looks kinda po'd about all the paint you empty over his head :D.
Regarding textures I found this article very helpful. Awesome tricks to do magic things. You can easily blend multiple lizard or whatever skinns into each other.

Just an idea!
