More golden swirly stuff. I really have to stop experimenting and make something really cool.... But.... it's soooo addictive... sighhhhh.

Hope you like it.

PS: I received more links and data for my abstract geometry from www.jotero.com (http://www.jotero.com). A nice contact! Thanks! There is also a nice thread about math stuff on the maxwell render site if you're into it.
PPS:2.5mega poly's. 1GB Ram... 2GHz... PC acts like a toddler... First resistance, then submission, than high pitched whining noise from the power supply..... But it works. Amazing. However, I did not check on the steam coming from the ram chips.

Here we go:
A pic of the mesh and a fragment small enough to be attached. The lib I use to process my raw data is tesselating the data. Due to the fact that I do not touch the geometry after claculating it I don't care. Actually the resulting mesh looks better than the quad alternative. The workflow is dictated by the weird tools and progs I get my hand on or create myself. generate->convert to VRML(only lib I have sighhhh)->BodyPaint3D->.OBJ->Zbrush or XSI.... Works...

Welcome Jotero!
You have to register on the maxwell site to see Jotero's cool thread. So don't be frustrated when Jotero's link goes nowhere.

Jotero, how long did Maxwell render on the Picture above??? And which cpu/speed/mem size did you use to attack it? I was thinking about buying Maxwell but render times seem to go into the 'weeks'.
Have a great weekend!

PS:You can answer in German... I'll translate.
PPS:Is it now Jotero or Torolf?:qu:
