the first is just goofing around-a little of the materialpack thrown in there.The second
is using textures made from some pen and ink

rhom, these are great piece's!The lighting on the top came out great, and the second one definitely brings in a different perspective!

In looking at your second image again, the spiral portion of it remends me of an exercise in perspective I had to do in a painting lesson a long time ago. It brings back fond memories of those days. But there is so much more to see. Images are coming so fast these days that I have to go back and look at a lot of them a second and sometimes a third time to really appreciate the depth of the painting.

The first one appears to me as a birds-eye-view of a something/vaguely humanoid thing over a city... :tu:

I like the second one in particular, the colors and that white line going around, very cool. :)
