Hi ,
I just returned from a long weekend in Yosemite which inspired me to do a quick landscape monstermaker style. It is still very much a wip, as I said I did it very quickly but I thought it was semi interesting.

MM .. your second picture is nice, but a tad clichéd. I think you should avoid "less strange". Your first pic, on the other hand, is stunning! The 'blasted oak' look is awesome, and handled with such skill. There's a real Van Gogh look to it .. swirling brush strokes, wild and a bit surreal. :tu:

Cool monster, as usual...
Do you have a non textured versions of the face you used for this last pic? I specially like his simple but realistic looking...
Nice artistic mood...

That has got to be one of the best ZB pics I've ever seen! Really superb. That looks so like fur surrounding the figure .. amazing. :tu:

Ok, here is another one. It has kind of mutated from my original landscape theme but since I did it within the same 24 hour period. I'll post it here.

Sebcesoir, here is the non textured version of both of the heads used in the above images. Nothing special about them,as you said they are simple, I made them as starting points for better heads. Both from the same base mesh that I used to make my old man .
Thanks to everyone for your comments and complements.

Monstermaker -

I really love to see your posts. I'm always so impressed with the way that you "flow" with your art - the improvement of the idea, the experimentation, and the variations.

You sir are a true artist :)

I look forward to seeing more...

Hey thanks Meats, you are too kind, I like your stuff too, I don't know about the true artist part, it's just how I have fun and that what's it's all about isn't it? That's what I love so much about ZBrush it is just so damn fun.
Hey are you still in europe? I going to Paris next week maybe we could meats up , get it , and have a crepe or something.

Hey Monstermaker,

It's not like I want to invite myself to your party but I know some cool places to share a beer in Paris (as I'm living almost there) and it would be a pleasure to meet you guys ... I'm your man ;)

The last image is my favorite. feels like a cross between a Gorgon, Lovecraft and classic green man images. I love the texture. I just started using ZBrush myself. Stunned at how fast and easy it is. Always hated computer modeling before it. It's the closest thing to clay I've ever seen.
