Mostly ZBRUSH with some fine tuning in Photoshop. I seem to keep trying to improve it so it may be a WIP.

Really fabulous job on the anatomy of a Great White's head, especially the way the upper jaw moves forward and the nose upward as it goes for a bite.
The only suggestion I can make is to somehow extend the horizon farther - the edge of the world seems awfully close. Of course, this will mess with the composition and "camera" angle, so it's a difficult balancing act.

Looking very good! Nice water effect. I agree with rbaumhauer though, the horizon seems to end abruptly. Maybe some distance fog could help? And maybe the outline of the horizon could be less 'wavey', that would also make it seem more distant.

Apart from the slightly chunky water, that's an awesome pic :) Great work!

Thanks for the comments and suggestions...
Munch: For the water, I used a 3D plane and Gel ShaderA material with the Modifiers set at:
Diffuse: 60
Reflectivity: 100
Colorize Diffuse: 20
Colorize Specular: 30
High Dynamic Range: 4.17
All the rest at default. Changing the Colorize Specular and High Dyn. Range settings back and forth, you can get pretty realistic looking water.
I also changed the draw pointer curve settings under Transform/Modifiers to resemble a ring or ripple of water and set the noise setting to 15 and Z intensity to 2... I found holding the button and making continuous ripples in all directions gave a better effect than placing random ripples one at a time in the water. Hope that helps.

fantastico modelling and sea, nocturnal! :tu: :tu: :tu: i part. like the transparency that makes the submerged shape of the shark visible. and the seagulls, too :D

That looks great, I especially like the coloring around the mouth. Water is also very convincing, apart from the angle(Maybe use the global perspective on the water?). Nevertheless a very nice picture :tu: :tu:
