That's some great lighting, but I bet it took a lot less hours ;p And maybe not enough noise to match a maxwell render ;p

To do this in most 3D apps wouldn't really impress me, but to create this in Zbrush is just fantastic, excellent work JB...

Nicey. Are you always getting the results you expect, or is there an element of chance involved?

Barely any chance involved now that I am starting to understand the lighting. The Good thing is for each one took less than 20 minutes to make including Render. All modeled, textured, lit ,even rendered in Zbrush.
No reference either. Getting it down to a science now. Hopefully I can think of better pictures than these. The Goal is to be able to make small quick render studies. All other apps I use are to tedious for this. Zbrush is perfect for these quick studies. Maybe I will Use some reference eventually but I would like to explore what is in my mind. Will post some sample files soon with Tutorials.
Gotta get some zzzzleep.

Um... that looks nothing like a Maxwell render. Sorry to sound so harsh, but it doesn't.
It may or may not (my not being an artist cripples me sometimes)... but I really like it! Great posts and would love a tut on how to.. everything.. lol
