Greetings,

I haven't posted in a while. I took some time off from Z-Brush to let things 'gel'.

I sat down last night and had a good flow going with Z-Brush using Z-spheres and several tecniques that I have learned from
Zbrushcentral over the past few months.

I initially imported a pictures of some hammers on one layer for reference, but I
had a unanticipated crash and started from
scatch.

Anyway the hammer is pure z-spheres and TextureMaster ver. G.

I took advantage of low-poly previews to refine the shape, before turning into a 256 resolution unified skin for texturing.

Hmmm.... now I'm wondering if a 1G of RAM
would be a good investment(currently running 512MB of DDR).

Suggestions or comments appreciated as always :) http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200306/user_image-1054837589gog.jpg

Artgraf, the best investment is a high-end graphics card. It will speed up tons with this kind of stuff, and it already comes with its own pre built memory.

I only have half as much mem and 64megs from my graphics card. It's outdated though, memory you can get away with, processing not so much.
