Mid-Western/East Coast ZBrush Users Group ?!

Greetings Fellow ZBrushers:

Is there any interest in the creation of a Mid Western ZBrush users group? Or even East Coast combined with the Mid West?

It seems that many of the ZBrush users are in the entertainment/gaming industries, however, I know that there are other ZBrushers that would benefit from meetings like the ZBrush forums that have been held on the West Coast.

Here is my reply I posted in another thread.... Maybe we can convince Aurick to set up a 'local usergroups' forum. It seems that this forum is plowing attempts under rather quickly with new posts... Maybe I whip up a quick 3D-East website so we can all coordinate....

Any case, here is my reply in the other thread:

I'll organize a NYC/Tristate/Eastcoast/AnyoneWhoCanMakeIt Area ZBrush User Meeting. I have the time right now to aproach that. Email me at LemonNado at Gmail.com if you are interested. I am sure it would be fun to meet fellow ZBrushers.

Depending on the amount of interest generated we can make it as informal or formal as required. I have a 1024x768 projector, screen and Mac Lap. So we can play Reels in Quicktime format and show interesting pictures :D. Maybe one or the other master could show off a technique or the other.

If 'significant' interest exists I am positive we can get a room from the Pratt Institute or NYCU....... Let's see!

I'll collect data for the next 10 days and will provide feedback by then.

As far as I know I am the only user in the Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas four state area (where all four states meet). I live in the SW corner of Missouri. :cry: :cry:

I'm in good ol' Kentucky, which is kind of close to you... Actually I see you noted you are in the southwest part of the state, so maybe I'm not! LOL

I'm down with a user group meeting somewhere in the central part of the US. So if anyone has any plans, let me know.
