I figured it was time for a serious humanoid study, its sculpted up from a >1000 poly mesh, so i learned a lot since i am use't to 2K polys just in the face on models I bring into zbrush.

Its great! But I think a golden shader is not the most appropiriated...
Mybe your should try a skin mat, or a grey/blue....
Great sculpting work!!
BTW those 1000 polys include the head and hands. Zack Petrok influenced.

the anatomy and proportion are perfect, spaz :tu: one of the best work here, congratulation...:D
Thank you very much, your words are very kind Abyssis, i just hope the studios I apply to share your opinion :). I've always been a fan of anatomy having a bit of a medical illustration background before getting into CG.
Sebcesoir my models waiting with open arms lol.
That's awesome. Killer modelling.

Actually, I think the gold helps to define the muscle and bone structure at this stage of the modelling .. very useful and instructive for me. Thanks, and wonderful model btw. :tu:

Really nice work. The gesture in the pose is dead on which is so rare in 3D models. The pectoralis muscles seem a little large and the abdominals seem to end too abruptuly into the groin, is there an extra set of muscles in the rectus abdominus. The bulge there where the rectus abdominus originates at the ribcage kinda looks like a pair of muscles.
Just my 2 cents : )
The form is looking awesome and I can tell it will only keep getting better. Post more updates.
Great stuff!
EDIT: man I gotta say the rythmn and interlocking of forms in the leg is realy darn fine.

Great sculpting!
Just wanted to say that I like your presentation. The background is pretty sweet.

Again thank you everyone for your kind words and suggestions. As far as it being a gold colour. I tend to make/use materials that show the details in the form.
Scott thanks for your eyes, I actually was looking at your site this morning.
Anyways heres some better shots of the back, i noticed there wasn't really one up there from the rear.
The response is helpin my ego as I look for work.
Spaz8: That's a hell of an example of anatomy. I saved it for reference...:D
Nice...:tu:
