Awesome image :)
I take it this stuff is done with multiple models all done separately or soemthing?

Zbrush seems to blur the boundairies between 2d art and 3d modelling. What sort of composition is this?

How much is 2d and how much 3d?

Hi Savant
You right, Zbrush can mix 2D, 2.5D, 3D
Stevie's works too :)
My Estimation 75% 3D, 10% 2.5D, 15% 2D :D

He will correct me if I am wrong :)

an AWSOME piece!

this program is sooooo huge, i get intimidated every time i think about trying to learn it...

though if i am going to start somewhere i am glad i found this place, and did not start out on my own, i would have given up LOL

again, i LOVE that piece. is it 100% ZBrush? text, lines background and all?!?!

Hi Guys,

I'm new- just dicovered Zbrush yesterday, downloaded the demo and checked the site. Jaw dropping talent displayed here.

A few questions for stevie-rae and his wonderful art:

1) Is your back ground 2d graphics in this image done in Photoshop, or are they native Zbrush tools?

2) I am a "traditional" sculptor by trade, and wonder if you have any tutorials on making your amazing anatomy in Zbrush. I understand the use of Zspere's, but I'd love to know how you approch things from there.

Thanks, and again, lovely work everyone!

Hi Curious
Welcome aboard !
look at my estimation 3 posts above :)
The Stevie Method is create multi-part of anatomy (3D) and position it at the end (3D space) and erase the seams with Smudge tool (2D).
But as sculptor you can make the entirere body in sculpting (Zbrush is the better program of sculpting at this day)
Don't hesitate to load some script for see the method : It's like a cinema movie
Have happy Zbrush sculpting !
Take me some moment for refound some examples
