what a great start, Doc! i am sure you would have taken care of this anyway but here are my 2cents: as the creature is staring at something a little bit above of a fire in front, the lightsettings (colors, direction & highlights in the eyes) should imho correspond more intense with that lower fireplacesource of light (but then i dont know what kind of scenery (indoors/outdoors etc.) you are planning to add, so the lightsettings might fit as they are). meloves the modelling and texture and i cant wait to see what you will come up with for the final version of this WIP :D

Now I can***8217;t say it***8217;s a nice face, because I wouldn***8217;t want to meet him on a dark night, without fast running shoes or a skateboard. I love the skin texture and modelling, and particularly the eyes, good stuff.

I would like to see some more detailed modeling on the nose area and of course more neck and shoulders. Otherwise this is really good. The fire reflection in the eyes is cool and I think black is a good background for this image :tu:

I am not very good on modeling so to me it is OK, all I can meaningful add is "Ditto" to all the comments above.

Cool and wicked character!
I can't make a decent character and am impressed with the result!
Seeing WIP is coolalso asit helps me learn as changes are suggested....
I particularly like the texture variations/bumps and lamprey like teeth.
