Hi everyone...I finally took some time to get the z-sphere man , to a stage where I could animate him.
You can view the first part of his creation in this thread: http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=011220

THe image below shows my results ::

Any ideas on potential areas that would be hard to animate..would be very useful..and so would anything else you care to add :)

Thanks

Kircho

Hi again...The picture below shows one of the steps I am taking in completing my approach to reproducing a Zb character for animation....

Basically.. 1-Z-spheres--->2-Z-Model---->3-Recreate Topology over basic z-model ---->4-Add detail to Z-model ---->5-Dispmap.

Step 3 ::

This method works beckwords to the one presented by A-W and Sky Castle...where you would first create the cage then import to ZB.

Hi Gary :)...The mesh is a Unified skin made from a Z-sphere model, that you can download from the link I have posted above. The unified mesh carries approximatly 34 thousand polygons.

I plan to use Kydara Motion Builder for animation. It is very cheap for students and overcomes many of the speed short falls present in other animation packages...this is why I am allowing for abit more detail in the mesh :)....

You know its funny you mention the moon walk, my plans were to animate him doing some of those classic 60's and 70's dances..like the twist
