View Full Version : A wasp head: zbrush geometry + 3dsMax Vray Render

Well I finally managed to get some zbrush geometry into 3dsmax with the difuse map.

Rendered using Vray with a little Depth of field. No editing afterward, just straight out.

Thanks peoples.

I started off with the texture mapped onto a shpere then added the lumps and bumps according to where they were on the image. I find this a really nice and quick way to make models.

Then I exported the model and difuse texture to max, made a mask texture in zbrush so the eyes are a different material to the rest of the head.

Then made a separate anntenna in zb and imported to max.

There's gonna be a lot more produced by us over the next 4 months so watch this space ;)
