Terrorized by a swarm of arctic lumber jacks, naturalist Pop Runyan roams the hills in his underwear, carving pug scarecrows into glaciers, hoping to repel the intruders.

Unfortunately, his dog, Blue, knowing no other way to express joy, pisses all the hard work away.

Pop is unrelenting. Lumberjacks who stumble into him swear he's grunting and ghasping evil, animalistic sounds, as though tyring to summon a great pug spirit to protect the trees.

Of course, Pop's only trying to say, 'My dog's peein' on my glacier!' but each time, he ends up choking on his woolly scarf.

Thanks for looking :D :tu:.

Hi denture
A new fan of Tobe Hooper :)
See this thread (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=010307) :D
Your mountain blue dog is very surrealistic !

Hi Pilou,

Tobe Hooper's work is, of course, extremely encouraging to look at. Right now, though, I'm a fan of marcel's, and boozy floozie's ZBrush work. Both deserve a great deal of whatever it is they want ;) .

Thanks for posting.

Though I don't think anyone gives a dump, here's a color corrected and contrast lowered version:

Plus an even less interesting, alternative plot:

After clear cutting most of America, Paul Bunyan stops to eat saw dust and carve some ice. His dog, Yellow, squats to provide the essential color.

Okay. I'm done pug bashing. Time to find new sources of irritation. Should be easy in our modern times. :D :tu:

So glad I made it back in time to see this.
You just can't have enough pug-ery in this world. Hilarious, intrigueing and with wonderful and humerous details.
Work with character wit and soul.

I also like the idea that when he cuts those trees they just float upwards .

And there was me making curly scrolls to add to future unpainted pics and you beat me to it.

Floozy,

Praise from you is motivating. Thanks for taking the time.

Also, though I don't know if I am the first to use the scrolly things in ZBrush, I'm sure if you choose this device, your showing will be more competant :D :tu: .

Although, if you'd rather be a pioneer, I recommend using a roll of toilet paper instead of curly scrolls. That would be quite ingenious :D :tu: .

Also, the floating tree idea is yours. It never occured to me. The lack of logs or footprints around the stumps represent a prodigious lack of effort on my part :) .

PusGhetty,

Your "Mephistophelean Trophy" thread encouraged me to attempt a more complete ZBrush scene. So, thanks for that and your kind post.

Hell yeah. Chuckling rules :D :tu: .

Now back to the cage I go  :tu: .
