Okay, I was having some problems with memory in ZBrush, at first I thought it was my computer, at least until I started playing around with my virtual memory settings that is.
A word of advice: I've learned that one should not let windows manage virtual memory as windows mostly uses up to 32mb, I recommend if you have 128mb of memory in your computer, set virtual memory to min 256mb and max 256mb in the control panel/system/performance tab, this gives it a fixed number to work with so it cleares and loads faster, also if you have more than 128 you should double the amount of memory which is in your computer in the min and max settings, make sure both min and max are the same amounts!
I guarentee faster and more stable performance of windows and ZBrush!
