Greetings everyone, I started sketching last week at work,...(on my lunch break), and I ended up with this. I guess the Scottish in me brought it out. As for technique, the serpent was a polymer sculpture I photographed and inserted into a Bryce scene as an image on a transparent plane. I painted in on the plaque in PM. The plaque, wall, and upper scroll on the hanger were Alpha-3d. Have a nice week. 50.

Rich: What a cool idea. I really like the idea of the creature comped into a bryce scene comped into a Z-Brush scene. Great work, bro. I like the mood of the piece. It makes me want to grab a Guiness and talk monsters in the pub...

Hi Dickie and Drummer, thanks. I went through different camera angles and went with the simplest. I had originally wanted to go to a pub and shoot a woman at a table with her arm in the air imitating the serpent and having two guys with pipes and mugs leaning in listening to her every word, kinda like a Norman Rockwell painting, and insert that into the window, but I just wanted to get a version done. Maybe I will make another at a later time. 50.

Hi Pilou, yes, after a hard day of monster hunting, head to the Pub, have a drink, and listen to her sing.:)

aminuts, the window glass was a 2nd layer textured plane with transparancy rendered second pass, after baking lights. Great! I will be watching for your story, I hope you get your problem fixed. 50.
