Hello.
My name is shikuri.
I am pigma's girlfriend. ;)
I built the picture of the moon.
This is the moon reflected in the water surface of a river. I made this spectacle in style so that that might be right till present.
This woman's dress and hair style were in fashion in the time in the 16th century.

Please come to see. It is a simple homepage although there is much Japanese.

Hallo Mr Pigma, I belive that you are trying to produce good and real efects with some a oriental stile, but looking at your present work and the others before i had seeing that she have a big structure of mans foot. Obviously and without any ofense. Your work is unique and some of your jobs are printed and fixed in my room, my mother loves them all. :) :D

I want to correct and submit this in the near future.
It desires to wait a little to show your mother this picture .

The portions of a leg and the shoulder were corrected. Moreover, with the former picture, since it seemed that she had floated in the air since the shadow of a floor is thin, the shadow of a deep color was added. How is it? :) :) :) http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200306/user_image-1054458829oct.jpg

Hi Shikuri, glad you sorted out the foot. Another beautiful image as I have come to expect from you and Pigma. :tu: :tu: :tu:

Popped over and had a look at your new gallery - off to a fine start with some old ZBrush favouritesa nd some new ones. Also interesting to see your small Photoshop gallery. I especially liked the third picture in there. (I have sent you a PM about a couple of trivial errors on the web page.)

I have not done yet correction of the portion which you pointed out. However, I think that these portions will be improved as early as possible. From now on, please let me know many things. ;)

Excellent picture and style. :tu:

:tu: Good job on the neck and foot, and excellent shadow work on the front of the robe.

But where is her left arm?? Because we can see the back of the robe between the left sleeve and the torso, we have to assume that her arm is not bent behind her back, and that she has no left arm.

Very beautiful, Shikuri! I especially like the tone, and the addition of the ground shadow on the second one really glues (sticks) it together.
If I may say, the position of the right shoulder looks too distanced from the torso. Is the figure leaning with his shoulder inward? Or arm twisted outward,
I am making a guess because of the cloth.

In this case the cloth surrounding the pose looks unwrapped like one would set down a folded shirt. :)
An an inspirational example I wear a very loose shirt, if I twist my arm down, it creates a straight pull direct from my shoulder bone (I'm a bit skinny, but great for anatomy). A little heavier from the end of the circle (that would be the shoulder). The center of the cloth falls somewhere along the waist meeting, the bulk is lower not upper.

The shorter the sleeve width, the more diagonal the lines become, I think the problem that I see is it should be more filled out underneath the arm and perhaps twist the cloth downward. Do you see what I mean?

I am unfamiliar with Japanese illustration. :) Although I know flat etching goes a lot with the flow of a certain-line dynamic. I am remembering some Japanese style drawings of clothed geishas.

What is Nu(o)? Sounds very interesting.

Thank you for bringing us so many wonderful sights of Japanese culture! :)
