Ok...so I have had this software over a year now...but I have finally had a chance to sit and try to learn it.
Now I wish I had sat down earlier, because it is just too fun LOL
One thing I was wondering is if there is any good sites that have different (excuse me for not knowing the proper terms yet LOL) brushes/alphas or whatever you want to call it to paint different textures onto the modelled shapes.
There are some nice ones that come with the program....but I would love to find some more toys to play with.
Any recommendations?

You could search here at ZBC, people often post stuff. Then there's Glen Southern's web site (http://www.southerngfx.co.uk/general/resources/resource.htm). His galleries are worth a look if you're in need of inspiration. ;)

thank you all...I shall go hunting for these this weekend :)

is there any other addons that could be recommended to someone more interested in texturing and displacements, rather than modeling itself?

hi not exactly sure what you are looking for in the texturing and displacement areas but Aside from Projection Master

there are some great zscripts that might have something you are looking for. In my signature are quite a few you might find useful. Also a search for zsketcher I think it was called...by Southern...that will help the search might be useful to you as well.

To learn more about the power of Projection Master watch the zscripts included with z2....Also Aurick wrote a mini tutorial on uses of PM that is in the tutorials forum.

all i can think of at the moment.
