help on text

can anyone explain to me the way i can take a text letter, for instance the letter P and then insert another letter for instance C and then go back and move, color or do anything to my first letter, the P

i am a baby to zbrush, hope someone can help :rolleyes:

From your question, I assume that you are working with imported letters that you are painting on the canvas?
