I think this is the most realistic floating head I've made yet...hair was done in Photoshop, all other post done in Zbrush. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200305/user_image-1052485915qmj.jpg

very nice job Bri. I agree with you that this is your most realistic head to date. Great work on the eyes and the hair esp.

This is very good work. Be proud of this one. The realistic head still escapes me :)

Hey there Slosh, I think he has a bit of a John Travolta look about him. :tu: Nice modelling. :)

Great work Sloshy!! I think my favorite part is the hair. :) I think he looks a lot like the guy that played the vampire on Fright Night...can't remember the actor's name. :tu: :tu: :tu:

Thanks, everyone. I wish that the jpg compression down to such a small file size did not result in losing details, but unfortunately, we all know it does. However, I know that several of you seem to manage to produce images at <200kb that still look pretty good. Any suggestions? This floating head on my screen looked pretty great, including the skin imperfections, but after exporting to Photoshop and converting to jpg, it lost a great deal of that detail.

He has your trademark eyes! Great job! :tu: :tu:
You can always post smaller closeup shots of parts of the image, along side the original post, if you want to show the lushness of the render and details. ;)
Nice to see you posting again Slosh! :D

Thanks, Belle. You are one of the people I have missed most during my absence (and during yours awhile back). The eyes are from a stock that someone posted a long, long time ago. Photoshop creations, I believe. I just don't have much desire to create original eyes, most of the time.
