Hey friends,
well, i started a new image / Scene, based on an old drawing .
I am not going to match it exactly, but i will try best to get the impression i had in my head, when i did this scribble.
scribble_02.jpg
Well, i started with some ZSpheres and i am now trying to avoid some resolutionproblems i encountered with my last zbrush model...
I had too much resolution in the hands and too less at the head, for example.
No, i increased the number of subdivs before creating the head-sphere and ran into some trouble with the adaptive mesh as you can see. I am sure i can fix in the sculpting progress, but i am asking myself, if there is a better trick to solve these problems, resulting from different ZSphere Resolutions in one single mesh ?
scribble_02work_.jpg
I recieved meats introductional DVD yesterday and i was searching for the ZSphere Tutorial section, found it, watched it, but Meats didn`t went into this special case.....(or did i miss something ??)
Someone got a little tip for me ?
regards,
Thomas
Hey Thomas, nice to see you here :)
Building zsphere meshes can be quiet tricky, I would suggest you try out this really helpfull little script xyzadjust (http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=3405&highlight=xyzadjust). You can change the meshresolution for each sphere afterwards with this script.
Nice sketch you have there.. looking forward to the 3d version ..
and thx for your post in my old man thread :)

hey, thanks grugi...
I tried this script, but it worked quite strange in my eyes, when i tried it the first time. Well, this is typical for me and i think i should take some more time to envolve that tool.
It`s indeed so damn strange, that these features arent integrated in Zbrush Standard...well, lets try...
Thanks so far...
Regards,
Thomas
PS: See you again on the next ""Still-Unknown-Amazing"-Software-Board" ;-)
Each Board, a Grugi !!! :-)

tried the tool a little longer and ...ok, here we go ! Quite fine ! Love it !
So, i just started to work out the shape out of the Sphery-Thing...
I decided to make it a female character...without that kind of aggression i used in the Scribble..

If you are referring to my 'Ouch!', it was at the contortionist position. Great work so far though. Sorry, just in a rushed mood today.

cool, thanks,
my partner here at work just told me, that he once stayed with a girl, who was a constro...bla... Told me some weird stories, that i indeed didn`t want to hear to the end ;-)
And another one, mentioned, that it might be the girlfriend of that Bip Fortuna guy from Starwars VI in Jabbas Palace...

Thomas

I think i will bring this one to the end. Mr. Miagi says: Whatever you do -finish it. I will try to take that serious..
well... i encountered some problems and need your help again. I dont know how, but it became, that i couldn`t scale my mesh anymore, but i needed to zoom in a little more, to adjust some details. So, i just i used the deformation "size" to make it much bigger, so that i was able to adjust the details. Negative effect was, that the Intesity-Settings of the Brushes became kinda scaled, too. Z-Intensity of 100 nearly has NO effect at all. I little, but really a little...
someone got an idea, how to fix that ?
And another thing. I do need a name for this...any ideas, too ?
And at least : A little Update for today, reaching the 5 Mio Polys, by now.
