View Full Version : A Red Sunset
I do not know if you folks get Red SunSets, but every now and then we get a really spectacular one.
This image does not come close to the beauty of the sky and sea that evening.
You could sit and look at it for hours, which is exactly what a lot of people did, including yours truly and Marva.
If you are wondering what is in the lower right of the image those are my initials with DV under them.

very nice...I have never seen a red sunset like that...I get a burned orange sky and occasionally a violet pinkish sky and or sun setting....I would love to sometime experience a red one....now during a kewl storm when there is hail in the atmosphere the sky will turn a turquoise green ...and that is very beautiful to me....but then again I love a good storm :) makes me sleep like a baby...you and MM must've had a good evening out on the porch watching this event... :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: give my regards

they wont come that red at these latitudes usually (though there are very nice ones here as well; anyway: living inside the city makes me often not realize whats going on in the westward sky and miss them :() but i had the privilege to watch a few red ones while travelling - the longest having been on a flight from sydney to singapore, when we travelled along with an orgiastic and most of the time red sunset for about 1.5 hrs. :D
great "snapshot", DeeVee! :tu: :tu: :tu:

We do get red sunsets here in South Florida, but it seems like it's been a while since I've seen a really spectacular one, like the one depicted here. Thanks for sharing this. Very nice! :tu: ;)
