Today I thought i'd learn how to model a head the zsphere way, and after a few bad attempts, I managed to make this, it's still WIP at the moment:

That is very very good!
I make game content and other low poly things... This is inspireing!
Maby I make a statue for a game map I am working on.... I have 7,000 polys left in my polycount budget for that part of the map... maby I make a statue...
How long did the low poly version take you? or did you make High poly and reduce?
very impressive :)
i want to know where i can get the material that you used for this model.

The low poly version didn't take long, just a bit of tweaking and added an extra edge loop around the eye socket. - That mesh is the level 1 of the highpoly, but the original basemesh looked basically the same.
The material is just 'doublepolkadot' from the standard materials, with high Cavity shading intensity, low diffuse and fairly high cavity colorize.. Just play around with it.
thanks for the comments!

excelent model
Wow thats fantastic Troymcoy , I really love your design of the creature and the thinking you've put into the wrinkles and forms underneath the skin....the fine skin details really bring him to life!!

Why not use the "upload image"
You don't appear in the Menu, not in the Orange gallery!
Pilou
how did you create the skin texture? i am new to Z and want to achieve that same thing. thank you

Thanks for the comments, i've fixed the links so now they're on the ZBC server, it seemed they stopped working overnight.
Thanks Frenchy.
Elfufu - The material is one of the standard grey ones with High cavity shading intensity, high colorize and low diffuse, render at best quality to see results.
I'm going to make a timelapse sometime soon of the modelling process for anyone whos interested...
Edit: Here's a quick material test, just play around with cavity settings:

It looks like this:

I made some alterations to the cheek/ear in the above image...tell me what you think.

Just a quick test to show that it is possible to make the zbrush model useable by adding cavities etc in another app, I would have to add the details again in zbrush and use that as displacement.
Exported level 2 from zbrush into wings, it still needs some tweaking:

OMG!
DId you modify that wings model in anyway???Is it all ZB, this beautiful topology???

No modifications except I applied the 'hole material' to the eye sockets and mouth cavity, and the edge of the nose I added an edge, but this looks just as I exported it from zbrush.
The only major alterations that I can see so far that need doing to the topology is making the loops to the mouth from around the nose flow properly, instead of joining the bottom of the nose...but this is very simple to do.

A little update on the Zbrush to wings model, just tweaked the edge flow a bit...
I'm also working on a timelapse of the zbrush process at the moment, from zsphere to detailed head, hopefully animateable aswell.
