View Full Version : Skinning old tools (Beta version)
The following image contains some wonderful effects with a new feature in 1.5, which I tested in the premiere/beta version. The pink hands are ones that I modeled in 1.23b a long time ago. Not so pretty. But being able to "reskin" tools (as mentioned in Pixolator's thread here: Skinning (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=004734)), you can see that the tools take on a new life. I really, really, really like this feature. It hides imperfections and is very easy to use. The blue hands are the "reskinned" tools.

Another reskinned tool, this time a multimarker object. This is great! I'm sure that there is probably a way to make the skin sharper, but I'm still experimenting.

Wow! I think I have a few models I can use this on. Nice work, and thanks for the constant examples to help us see what we're in for. Great examples! :D
