I haven't done to many fully 2D heads, and this is my first really close-up picture. :) Lots of fun. ;)

Makes me think back to a film many years ago, The Boy with Green Hair, not sure that it wasn't a young Dean Stockwell. Good expression. :tu: :tu:

Kool green look! like the light catching the eyes, and the fact that you have chosen to do a head at an angle instead of straight on, you were obviously up for the challenge. One thing i know that i need to work on is skin tones, i strugle to get a realistic coloring, i saw a book the other day which showed how to go about this and wow there were full spectrum faces, that actually looked realistic, with so many colours. It would be good to see ya do more in the theme of portraits as your of to a good start. :tu: :tu:

Thank you, Picsas and Juandel. :) I hope to get some more of these heads out on the canvas. (They are very shy. ;))
That's a cool head! :D I tried doing it from scratch but, well, that's the magic of Z. It does it for me. Wish I could do it from scratch.
Really great painting skills!

This second one is really cool M! :D
The pose is almost traditional Japanese style to me, the expression is great, and I really get off on your sense of hue!!

Oooh I love Strain! When can I meet him? :D
Seriously though, this is one awesome painting! I love his glasses.
His hair is perfect and the shading you did is absolutely wonderful! This is one for the learning files for me! The colors are soooo warm. Just awesome!

I like these alot--could be great magazine illustraions (for stories) GOOD Work Muvlo!! :tu: :tu: :tu:
Thanks for the comments Stonecutter, Vikki, and Robo. :) BTW, next time I do one of these I will try very hard to remember not to mess up the ZScript, and to save it, which might make a good learning expeirience. I first got into Z painting looking at Ed's scripts. :)
Muvlo,
Yes, it would definitely make a good learning tool! I'll be the first in line. :D
I watch the one Stonecutter gave me for hair almost every day and try at least once a day. I'm getting the hair, but the head that goes with it, well, that's another story. :D
