Hello all,
Here is a guy I have been workiing on. Please feel free to critique this render as I can use all the constructive feedback I can get. I still need to add spec maps for his tusks an tweak the eyeballs to show up better.

outstanding elephant model! The only crit I might possibly have is that he needs some visible veins on the ears...afterall if it weren't for the veins on those ears he would overheat and probably die...but seriously...a great model and the veins are the only details that I can think of that might be missing

Outstanding elephant! I agree about the ears. They are very smooth. I even got a chance to look at elephant ears the other day and they are definetly bet up and wrinkled. The only other thing I would say is that you could use more long and thin radial wrinkles. For example, behind the front legs there might be long, vertical lines running up her sides because of the constant movement of her arms. Also her tusks could use some beating up. If you cant do it in the geometery (i.e., it will get to dense) use Ken Brillants method of using the roller brush to paint on a bump map.
Damn fine model though.!:tu: :tu: :tu:

impressive elephant. I need to see this big animal in a scene (wild scene).
Good job
hey Scott,
very nice elephant - the ears seem to be too thick
aswell. i think they are very thin and react like cloth.
