View Full Version : A Quiet Evening At The Cove
Still experimenting.
Doodling myself to an image, finding out a few things in the process. Like rotation of images in texture import to get mirror images and so on. Not in this case, that image will be posted at another time. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1027403246frk.jpg

Nice rendering! It's got great depth, and the colors are very soothing just as they should be. Great work! :)
Thanks to all who took some of their time to reply to this image, they are all appreciated.
As I might have mentioned I have been praticing a lot.
Every day that I get a chance to play with this toy makes me eternally grateful that it is available for me to doodle with.
It is a lot easier to paint something one has seen than from the imagination, I see a lot of beautiful skies all the time, so the problem for me is painting it in a realistic manner, and I think I am getting a little better at doing that.

Joe.
Incredible.
A calm, peaceful night descends upon the island, as Kathy stretches out on her lounge chair to sip her tropical drink with the umbrella stuck in it.
 Damn, woke up.
I love all you water scenes DeeVee.
This one seems to be very strong in execution and line. As though you knew exactly what you wanted every step of the way.
LOVE IT!!!

Glorious colours - made me feel like realxing with a long cool one as well. :tu:
Vikki, the method I used for the sky is in the quicklinks.
A thread started by Jaundel and contributed to by several members. That is basically it with a few personal touches.
Hey DeeVee! Thanks!
If it's the sky script by Jaundel I just downloaded and am going to run it and see what inspirations come from it. Knowing Jaundels work and seeing yours I'm sure it'll be a definite eye opener and there will be no sleep tonight. :D
No problem! there are several scripts in that thread. I personally like the one by Zoid, as with a few modifications you can also use it to do water, that is what I did, but it all started with a script Zoid did for me many moons ago.
I am sure you will find one that works well for you.
DeeVee,
Joe
